Nintendo Direct Announcements

First off is the system update that is going to be available April 25th 2012.  Here's some details on what the system update will include:

-Ability to create folders

- each folder can store sixty icons
- name each folder
- the name's first character appears on the folder's graphic
- patch functionality for games
- download the patch data from the Nintendo e-Shop to apply to a game
- first games to be patched will be Mario Kart 7, New Love Plus and Kingdom Hearts 3D
- Mario Kart 7 patch is due out in May
- this will fix some shortcut issues

Nintendo Direct Announcements in English Later This Evening

So it looks like we'll be getting the Nintendo Direct announcements translated, at least the things that pertain to North America.

Next Nintendo Direct This Saturday

At least for Japan, no news on when the North American or Europe Nintendo Direct announcements are coming.  Last time they weren't too far apart and essentially all the same info, we'll have to see if some of the rumors pop up true or laid to rest.

What Needs to Change with The Legend of Zelda?

I'm sure there are a ton of people with ideas on how to change or make the The Legend of Zelda series better. 1UP posted an article on what they feel needs to happen to keep the series going.

Project Cars Footage

Darksiders 2 delayed until August

So it looks like the June 26th date has changed.  It has been said before that they weren't going to release the game until it was done.

IGN - Imagining F-Zero on Nintendo's Wii U

Curious as to what F-Zero could be like on the Wii U?  I sure am, in fact, just the other day I was having the urge to play F-Zero so I headed on over to my local Gamestop to see if they had a copy in their Gamecube section.

Mario Game to be Announced at E3?

So it seems pretty plausible, though this is information that has been both translated and passed on.  Seeing as, at least to my knowledge, Shigeru Miyamoto doesn't speak Spanish.  It means that it went from Japanese to Spanish to English and then from one site to the next.  I don't see why Nintendo wouldn't announce a new Mario game as they've recently bought up SuperMario4.com.  Here's a small quote from the article.  Hit the link for the full thing.

"In a recent interview, Mr. Miyamoto confirmed that a new Super Mario Bros. game for the Wii U system will be shown at this year's E3 Expo," a Nintendo spokesperson said. "We'll have more to announce about our plans for the E3 Expo at a later date."
